JONESVILLE
Larry E. Thompson, 74, of Jonesville, died at 12:01 a.m. Friday, September 1, 2017, at I.U. Hospital in Indianapolis.
Larry was born in Bartholomew County January 31, 1943, the son of George and Grace Stoner Thompson.
He was a self-employed truck driver and enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed his computer.
He is survived by sisters, Rebecca A. (Charles) Harvey of Seymour, Sue Thompson of Florida, Helen (Vern) Tucker of Kentucky and Margaret Thompson of Florida; brothers, Richard Thompson of Kentucky, Marvin Thompson of Arkansas, Mike and Tom Thompson, both of Florida; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Myers~Reed Chapel on 25th Street with Pastor Irvine Benge officiating. Visitation will be from noon to service time. Burial will follow in Garland Brook Cemetery.
