YORK, Maine — York Middle School student Yamilah Saravong has been modeling since age 3 and has performed in numerous Ogunquit Playhouse productions.

This holiday season, she’ll have a film credit to her name.

The 11-year-old tells the Portsmouth Herald (http://bit.ly/2iTh0dW) that many of her friends don’t believe her when she tells them she’s going to be in a movie. She’s going to play a role on the big screen with Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell, in the movie “Daddy’s Home 2.”

Yamilah plays a girl who’s spending the holidays at the same place as Wahlberg’s and Ferrell’s families. She says one of her scenes involved improvisation with Ferrell. When not acting, she says she attended classes with other kids in the movie.
