CAMDEN, N.J. — Authorities say a fatal shooting at a Camden gas station spurred a lengthy standoff at a nearby city home that ended with two people under arrest.

The shooting occurred around 10 p.m. Saturday on Kaighn Avenue. One man who was shot in the chest later died at a hospital, while another man suffered a graze wound to the head.

The subsequent investigation soon led police to the home. The standoff started a short time later and continued overnight until the two suspects were arrested without incident.

A motive for the shooting remains under investigation.

The names of the suspects and the shooting victims were not released.
