Southern Indiana Surgery, 2325 18th St., Columbus, has announced the addition of two partners, Dr. Jason W. Christie and Dr. Justin J. Burdick.

Both have practiced with Southern Indiana Surgery for several years.

Christie specializes in vascular surgery. He earned a medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine then completed general surgery training and a vascular surgery fellowship at Wake Forest University, including a year of intensive research focusing on renal artery disease.

Burdick specializes in general and breast surgery. He earned a medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed surgery training at Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He was formerly a staff general surgeon at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune.

Eric Robbins of Columbus, a financial adviser with Edward Jones at 3525 W. Two Mile House Road, has been invited to attend the annual Barron’s Top Financial Advisors Summit in mid-September at Palm Beach, Florida.

Attendees are invited to the conference in recognition of their accomplishments in the industry. The conference is designed to promote best practices and generate new ideas through workshops that explore current issues from business development ideas, managing client accounts and families to portfolio management and retirement planning.

Toyota Material Handling U.S.A. has announced the promotions of Tom Lego and Scott Redelman to national management teams.

Lego has been promoted to national manager of training and the customer center where he will lead all TMHU training programs and oversee the customer center. He joined Toyota Industrial Equipment Manufacturing (TIEM) in 1991 and joined TMHU in 2011 as the customer center manager. He also led the technical training team during the past year.

Redelman has been promoted to national manager of Toyota Lean Management and will head Toyota’s efforts to develop its dealer network and lead the development of an internal lean management training program. He joined TIEM in 1996 as a specialist in production control before his most recent position as senior manager of production control and logistics.
