WESTPORT
Angela Dawn “Angie” Wren, 43, of Westport, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at her residence. She was born June 9, 1974, in Columbus, the daughter of Ronald L. & Sharon (Nugent) Rudd.
Angie was a lifelong resident of Westport and graduated from South Decatur High School in 1992. She attended the Westport Christian Church and enjoyed singing, needle point and scrapbooking.
She is survived by her mother, Sharon Rudd of Westport; father, Ronald (Ginny) Rudd of North Vernon; sons, Garison Wren & Kagen Wren of Westport; brothers, Gary (Trisha) Rudd and Ryan (Courtney) Rudd, both of Westport; sister, Lacey Rudd of Westport; grandmother, Dee Nugent of Westport; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Benjamin Thomas Wren; and grandparents, Richard Nugent and Rev. Garland & Bea Rudd.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 8, 2017, at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor Mike Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow at the Westport Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, September 7, 2017, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of Decatur County, Riley Children’s Hospital or the Westport Christian Church.
