DAVENPORT, Iowa — Authorities say a Missouri man has admitted robbing a bank in eastern Iowa.

Prosecutors say 60-year-old Peter Lundberg, of St. Ann, Missouri, pleaded guilty Friday in U.S. District Court in Davenport. He acknowledged in his plea to robbing a Bank of the West branch in Coralville of nearly $1,100 on April 20. His sentencing is set for Jan. 8.

Lundberg was arrested in Scott County about 45 minutes after the robbery. Officers who stopped a car that matched a description provided by witnesses found him and Bridgette Durborow, who was driving.

Durborow, of St. Peters, Missouri, later told officers she knew Lundberg was robbing the bank. She’s also pleaded guilty to the robbery, and her sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 17.
