PHOENIX — An arrest has been made in the death of a man who was stabbed during an argument on a light-rail platform in west Phoenix.

Phoenix police say 38-year-old Barry Lee Morris Jr. was arrested Monday in the fatal stabbing that occurred on Saturday night.

The identity of the 40-year-old victim hasn’t yet been released.

He was later pronounced dead at a hospital.

Authorities say Morris fled the scene after the stabbing.

Morris was booked on suspicion of second-degree murder.

It’s unclear whether Morris has yet been assigned an attorney.
