Up for a movie? In a theater? Check out “The Dark Tower” in Nashville.

Story line: Action-adventure movie stars Matthew McConaughey and Idris Elba. Roland Deschain (Elba, pictured above), the last Gunslinger, is locked in an eternal good-vs.-evil battle with Walter O’Dim (McConaughey), also known as the Man in Black. The Gunslinger must prevent the Man in Black from toppling the Dark Tower, the key that holds the universe together.

Where/when: Shows at the Brown County Playhouse, 70 S. Van Buren St. in Nashville, at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday.

Cost: $5 per student, $6 per adult, concessions, local beer and wine sold.

Rating: PG-13.
