LINCOLNTON, N.C. — A North Carolina man has died after the truck he was working on fell on him.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office told local media outlets that 50-year-old Michael Queen died Monday. Deputies said Queen had the truck on jack stands while he was working on it.

Investigators said Queen’s wife came home, found him pinned beneath the truck. Deputies, emergency workers and the Crouse Fire Department responded around 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Queen was pronounced dead at the scene.
