LONDON, Ky. — A Kentucky sheriff has charged four men with raping a girl under the age of 16.

Laurel County Sheriff John Root says in a statement that the men, who are all 19, were arrested Tuesday night and charged with first-degree rape. The statement said a group of teens were drinking early Tuesday when the four males had intercourse with her.

Police say Tristan Shay Oakley, Marty Austin Phillips, Calvin Wesley Baker and Jerricho Taylor Asher were taken to the Laurel County Detention Center. Oakley also faces a charge of custodial interference. Online jail records don’t indicate whether the men have attorneys.
