CASPER, Wyo. — A Casper woman will serve time in prison for stealing almost $300,000 from her employer, almost running him out of business.

Assistant District Attorney Mike Schafer told KTWO-AM (http://bit.ly/2xOFl85 ) Tuesday that 69-year-old Gloria Taylor will serve six two- to 10-year prison sentences concurrently for stealing from her employer, Rocky Mountain Brake Supply. She pleaded guilty to four counts of receiving stolen property, one count of felony theft and one count of obtaining goods by false pretenses.

Eight other charges were dropped.

Owner Kenneth Baker says after the theft, he had to borrow money to keep his company afloat.

Taylor will be on parole while she tries to pay what she owes to Baker and his business.
