William J. Wuensch, age 76, of Nashville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 3, 2017.
He was born July 16, 1941, in Beech Grove, IN, to Leo Wuensch and Dorothy (Mullen) Wuensch.
He was a tool and dye maker by trade and worked at various companies in Indianapolis and Columbus. He also worked at Cummins. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards.
He was formerly married to Kathleen Medcalf Butcher for 14 years. They have four children, Michele Dagenais of St. Mary’s, KS, Eric Wuensch of Wichita, KS, Melissa Wood of Mobile, AL, and Karl Wuensch of Columbus, IN(1970-2013). There also are 27 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
His siblings were Barb Pierle, Lita Jones, Tom Wuensch, Phil Wuensch and Mike Wuensch.
Services will be held at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Nashville on Friday at 11:00 a.m. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bond-Mitchell Funeral home, 1682 State Road 135 North, Nashville, IN. 47448.
