Dale L. Reed, 75, of Nashville, passed from this life at 1 a.m. Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Dale was a retired truck driver from High Hill Ready Mix where he had worked for 23 years.
He enjoyed fishing, bowling and playing bingo.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Paul Huntsman officiating.
Family and friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. to time of service Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Dale was born November 27, 1941, in Brown County. He was the son of Omar and Mary L. Griner Reed.
Survivors include his brothers, Charles (Nancy) Reed of Columbus, James (Mary) Reed of Morgantown and Steve (Susie Mattingly) Reed of Nashville; a sister, Helen Mathis of Seymour; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved companion, Judith Vance.
Mr. Reed was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Edward Griner, Bruce Reed and Gene Reed; and sisters, Mary VanHooser, Eleanor Ziegler and Kay George.
