ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. — The trial for a 37-year-old Vermont man charged in the 2010 kidnapping and killing of a Sheffield woman is scheduled to start early next year, but it’s unclear where that trial will be held.

Keith Baird is facing charges of first degree murder, kidnapping and burglary in the death of 78-year-old Pat O’Hagan.

The Caledonian Record (http://bit.ly/2vSxSrn ) reports that Judge Michael Kupersmith said a two-week trial for Baird will be scheduled for between January and March, but no decision has been made on where the trial will be held.

Prosecutors say Baird and two relatives went to O’Hagan’s home to search for drugs on Sept. 10, 2010. O’Hagan was shot and killed by one of the other suspects.

The other two suspects are in prison.
