NEWARK, N.J. — A New Jersey man convicted of coercing a young girl to engage in sexually explicit conduct while he photographed it has been sentenced to 40 years in prison.
Felix Restitullo will also be put on lifetime supervised release under the sentence imposed Friday.
A federal jury deliberated for less than three hours in May before finding the 42-year-old Jersey City man guilty of producing child pornography and possessing child porn.
Investigators had interviewed the victim in March 2014 as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged child sexual abuse. She told them Restitullo had sexually abused her and photographed it.
Investigators say a forensic examination of electronic media devices belonging to Restitullo found more than 3,000 images and more than 350 videos of child sexual abuse.
