JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The body of a Florida man who had been night fishing from a kayak has been recovered.

The Florida Times-Union reports that 22-year-old Joel Digiacomo was found dead Saturday evening.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says Digiacomo and a friend were fishing from separate kayaks in the St. Johns River early Saturday morning. The friend lost track of Digiacomo and eventually called police to report him missing.
