The Rev. William and Adele Cordes of South Jonesville Road recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Cordes and the former Adele Benbrook were married Aug. 13, 1977, at First Baptist Church in Seymour.
The Rev. Cordes is pastor of Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Greensburg and is also employed by Applied Laboratories.
The couple have two children, Bill Cordes of Columbus and Susan Cordes Selby of Greenfield. They also have four grandchildren.
