SAN MARCOS, Calif. — San Diego County authorities say volunteers searching for a missing 62-year-old man found a body believed to be that of the San Marcos resident.

Sheriff’s officials believe Sam Sangee Kim walked away from a senior living center Friday morning. His family reported him missing later that day.

Deputies and volunteers looked for Kim until 2 a.m. Saturday and resumed the search about 5:45 a.m.

Officials say later that morning a volunteer on a dirt trail found the body of a man matching Kim’s description. The man’s clothes also matched the clothing Kim was wearing.

The Medical Examiner’s Office will determine if the body is that of Kim’s, as well as how the man died.

Sheriff’s Sgt. John Spach tells the Union-Tribune (http://bit.ly/2gWMLlZ ) that no foul play is suspected in the death.
