TERRYTOWN, La. — A Louisiana man has been arrested after authorities say he shot another man who he believed was taking photos of his home.

News outlets report 47-year-old Shawn Henderson called 911 on Saturday when a neighbor said a man had been taking photos of his house. Henderson then took his gun and got in his truck to look for the man.

Jefferson Parish Interim Sheriff Joseph Lopinto says Henderson confronted the man and a struggled ensued. Henderson fired his gun twice, with one shot going through the man’s right leg.

Lopinto says the man had been walking through the neighborhood and not taking pictures. The man is in stable condition at a hospital.

Henderson was charged with one count of aggravated battery. It’s unclear if he has a lawyer.
