PINEVILLE, Mo. — McDonald County sheriff’s deputies are looking from a suspect in a fatal shooting near Longview.

Sheriff Michael Hall said deputies and emergency medical technicians were called to the home Tuesday morning and found the body of Russell McClelland.

The Joplin Globe reports a 911 caller said a male intruder entered the home and shot McClelland several times.

The sheriff said deputies are looking for a 27-year-old man from Goodman. He was last seen driving a dark-blue-over-gold 1990s model Ford F-150 pickup truck with a black angle iron ladder rack.

A warrant has been issued charging Wade Woods with first-degree murder.
