Nominations are due Sunday for The Republic’s 36th annual Woman of the Year.

The award honors one Bartholomew County woman for unselfish contributions toward creating a vital community and a high quality of life with an emphasis on long-term activity, hands-on work and diverse involvement.

To make a nomination, download the application from therepublic.com. Click on the “Local” tab, “Community” and “Woman of the Year,” then on a link to fill in the form. You also may pick up a printed form at The Republic, 2980 N. National Road, Suite A, Columbus, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

Include information on the nominee, as well as the nominator.

Nominations must be received or post-marked by Sunday. Nominations can be delivered or mailed to The Republic or emailed to editorial@therepublic.com.
