BERLIN, Conn. — Police in Connecticut are searching for a man who they say shot at another car while driving on the Berlin Turnpike.

The New Britain Herald reports that police responded to a report about shots being fired around 12:50 p.m. Tuesday in Berlin. Police say the shooting happened on the Berlin Turnpike near the state Route 372 on-ramp.

Berlin Police Lt. Chris Ciuci says the suspect yelled at another vehicle before shooting at it. Police say both vehicles left the scene before police arrived. Investigators say the suspect was travelling in a silver Honda.

Police continue to investigate.
