TULSA, Okla. — Police in Tulsa say a man who fatally shot a 20-year-old woman at his home has been arrested on a first-degree manslaughter complaint.

Court records do not show that the man has been formally charged. Jail records show he’s being held on $50,000 bond.

Police say he told officer he thought she was a burglar when he shot her about 3 a.m. Wednesday at the home in west Tulsa.

Officers responding to the shooting found the woman’s body on the front porch of the home. Her name has not been released.

Authorities say the man and woman knew each other, but the nature of their relationship wasn’t immediately clear.

According to police, the man called 911 after the fatal shooting.
