Penny Jo Phillips, 60, passed away Monday, September 11, 2017, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Penny was born August 11, 1957, in Greensburg.
She loved spending time with her family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, September 16, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Marvin Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service Saturday. Inurnment will be at a later date at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Greensburg.
Penny is survived by her mother, Rose Tennell Hellmich of Greensburg; son, Bruce (Angel) Phillips and daughter, Stacey Phillips, both of Columbus; grandchildren, Darrion, Bryant, Kimbriana, and Olivia; sisters, Faith (Jeff) Koors of Greensburg, Kathy (Don) Settles of Laurel, Indiana, Brenda Sallee of Greensburg and Crystal (Kevin) Foster of Greensburg.
She was proceeded in death by her father, Joseph Hellmich and a brother-in-law, Tim Sallee.
