The Rehabilitation Center at Columbus Regional Hospital will have its annual Rehabilitation Awards Ceremony from noon to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 26 in the hospital’s Kroot Auditorium.
The ceremony will celebrate the achievements of former rehabilitation patients as well as recognize rehabilitation staff. Columbus Mayor Jim Lienhoop will attend this year’s ceremony.
Patient and wellness participant awards will be announced, including a special recognition for the Spirit of Rehab Award recipient. Rehabilitation center staff members nominate former patients who have shown dedication and a positive attitude, as well as inspiration for and validation why the staff chose that line of work.
