HUEYTOWN, Ala. — Hueytown Police Chief Chuck Hagler is retiring at the end of September.

Capt. Mickey Willis will be the interim chief until the mayor appoints someone to permanently fill the position.

The chief spent many years in the Multi Agency Drug Enforcement Team and as a detective before being sworn in as chief in 2007.
