Robin Trillby Hatton

Robin Trillby Hatton, 61, of Columbus, died at 4:54 p.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at I.U. Health Hospital in Bloomington.

Robin had been a writer for Children’s Magazine.

The funeral will conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Christiansburg United Methodist Church 7372 S. Christianburg Road, Columbus, IN 47201 with Pastor Jason Hyer officiating.

Family and friends may call from 12:30 p.m. to time of service Monday at the church.

Burial will follow at Christiansburg Cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted with Barkes, Weaver, & Glick Funeral Home.

She was baptized at and a member of Christiansburg United Methodist Church and a graduate of Columbus North High School. She loved to draw and garden, wrote prolifically, and was a very spiritual person.

Robin was born in Columbus on January 21, 1956, the daughter of Arnold A. and Catherine E. Harden Hatton.

Survivors include her siblings, Steven A. Hatton of Columbus, Suzanne C. Myrick of Brown County, and Stephanie A. Hatton of Columbus; nieces and nephews, Chadd A. Hatton, Trillby Hatton, Chance Hatton, and Nathan Myrick; and aunts, Ginger Campbell of Florida and Mildred Harden of Columbus.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother-in-law, George Myrick.
