Scholarship donors, students meet at luncheon

IUPUC students and scholarship donors came together during a luncheon this month at the Columbus Learning Center.

The luncheon, on Sept. 12, allowed scholarship recipients to thank donors for their generosity. Donor gifts totaling more than $25,000 for the 2017-18 school year helped fund about 27 scholarships.

Purdue Polytechnic to hold open houses

Purdue Polytechnic Columbus, 4444 Kelly St., will have two open houses this month highlighting programs available at the college.

College visit days will be today and Sept. 27 targeted to high school juniors and seniors, college transfer students and returning adult students. High school students are encouraged to use a college visit day to explore programs and courses at the campus while also getting information on financial aid, student housing and admissions.

Those who attend will be able to meet with a student services staff member, who will create a tour designed to the student’s interests and future career objectives College visit days also will be offered each month through December.
