WILSON, Pa. — An eastern Pennsylvania pigment manufacturer will close, idling 80 workers.

The (Easton) Express-Times (http://bit.ly/2flqLAE ) says the Venator Materials plant in Wilson will close by the end of the year.

A news release says Venator will also close a plant in St. Louis. The company says it’s ramped up production at a facility in Augusta, Georgia.

The plant in Wilson has been around since the late 1800s.

Venator, of Stockton-on-Tees, England, employs 4,500 worldwide.
