Endowment donors can triple their money

The Hawcreek-Flat Rock Area Endowment has been offered an opportunity to grow its fund through a collaboration between a generous benefactor and Heritage Fund — The Community Foundation of Bartholomew County.

Former Hope area resident Timothy M. Andrews of Princeton, New Jersey, and and the Heritage Fund are partnering with the Hawcreek-Flat Rock Area Endowment to have a dollar-to-dollar match on every gift received by the endowment through Dec. 31, up to $10,000.

Anyone wishing to donate will triple the value of their gift through this arrangement. The endowment could potentially increase its coffers by $30,000.

Checks may be made payable to the Hawcreek-Flat Rock Area Endowment Fund and mailed to P.O. Box 202, Hope, IN 47246.

The Hawcreek-Flat Rock Area Endowment Fund was established in 2002 by area residents for the betterment of the community. Since it was created, the endowment has made 117 grants, totaling $158,527 to area nonprofits.
