What to watch for: This will be a battle of top-10 teams in Class 5A and a battle for first place in the Hoosier Hills Conference. The Highlanders moved into the rankings at No. 9 in 5A this week after winning their fourth consecutive game since a season-opening loss at Louisville Male. The 5A No. 4 Olympians have won three in a row, all by decisive margins. Last week’s scoring output was its biggest since an 82-13 sectional win against South Dearborn in 2014.

Prediction: Columbus East 49, Floyd Central 27

Either Bless or Barrett will earn a milestone victory — Bless tying Max Andress for Columbus North’s all-time wins lead with his 118th or Barrett picking up his 100th career win.
