PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting that killed a driver and wounded his passenger.

Police say the shooting happened Thursday night in the city’s Strawberry Mansion section. The 33-year-old driver was shot in the abdomen and died at a hospital. His 32-year-old passenger was hospitalized with a graze wound to the head.

Police tell Philly.com the car continued moving after the shooting and came to rest in a grassy lot after jumping the curb. They say it had about six bullet holes on the driver’s side.
