HARRISBURG, Pa. — A Pennsylvania man who nearly struck a police officer while fleeing a traffic stop has been sentenced to up to nine years in prison.
WHTM-TV reports (http://bit.ly/2xWP0gn) Sharief Hand, of Steelton, was sentenced on Wednesday to 27 months to nine years for the 2015 assault. Hand had been charged with fleeing police, reckless endangerment and aggravated assault. Two counts of attempted homicide had been withdrawn.
