ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Police say a 3-year-old boy has died after being struck by a vehicle in Alexandria.
Local media report the boy was hit late Saturday afternoon. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.
Police say the driver stayed on the scene. They did not say whether the driver might face charges.
Crystal Nosal, an Alexandria police spokeswoman, told the Washington Post preliminary information indicated the child might have run into the street.
