ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Police say a 3-year-old boy has died after being struck by a vehicle in Alexandria.

Local media report the boy was hit late Saturday afternoon. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.

Police say the driver stayed on the scene. They did not say whether the driver might face charges.
