Columbus City Cemetery, located south of Donner Park, is scheduled for a cleanup Oct. 2.
People with family plots in the cemetery are asked to pick up any items they wish to save by Oct. 1. Parks department personnel will remove and discard worn and out-of-season decorations that remain on the ground after Oct. 2.
The next cleanup after Oct. 2 will be April 2.
