COLUMBUS
Keith F. Naylor, 80, of Mockingbird Drive in Columbus, passed from this life at 4:44 p.m. Friday, September 22, 2017, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mr. Naylor was born August 24, 1937, in Kent, England, the son of Fred and Lillian Naylor.
Mr. Naylor was an engineer at Cummins Engine Company and later was the owner of the former Naylor Sports in Columbus.
He was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church where he ran the sound board for services at the church.
A sports enthusiast, Mr. Naylor had a passion for playing tennis and stringing tennis rackets. He enjoyed planning and building things and was well known for moving and installing billiard tables.
Mr. Naylor is survived by his former wife, Rachel Naylor of Lowestoft, England; his children, Helen Naylor of Nashville, Tennessee and Andrew (Misti Lawrence) Naylor of Blaine, Washington; a sister, Veronica Cook of Folkstone, England; a niece, Vivienne Rumbold of England; and a nephew, Geoffrey Cook of England; and great-nephew and great-niece, Alex and Vanessa Rumbold.
Mr. Naylor was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday at Bethel Baptist Church, 142 Deaver Road, Columbus, with Pastor Adam Carrigan officiating.
Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.
