Texas Roadhouse helping hurricane relief

Texas Roadhouse in Columbus will join more than 500 of the chain’s locations around the country to donate 100 percent of their profits Wednesday to the American Red Cross and other organizations helping with hurricane relief.

The event will be from 4 to 10 p.m. on Wednesday at the local restaurant, 2508 25th St.

Based in Louisville, Kentucky, the restaurant chain has provided more than 50,000 meals to shelters and first responders in communities affected by Hurricane Harvey in Texas and Hurricane Irma in Florida.
