NEWARK, N.J. — A New Jersey man who admitted he shared pictures of children engaged in sex acts has been sentenced to four years in prison.

Acting Essex County Prosecutor Robert Laurino said Monday that 31-year-old Kevin Jones-Ward, of Irvington, pleaded guilty in July to endangering the welfare of a child. NJ.com reports (http://bit.ly/2wT3tVr ) Jones-Ward was sentenced in Newark, and will be placed under lifetime parole supervision as part of a plea agreement.

He must also register as a sex offender.

Jones-Ward was arrested in 2016 after an investigation found him in possession of illicit files on computers at his house.

A woman who answered the phone at Jones-Ward’s home says she had no comment on his sentencing.
