Driver injured in pickup truck rollover on State Road 58

A driver was treated and released after he rolled his pickup truck multiple times in the 14000 block of State Road 58.

Bartholomew County Sheriff’s deputies were sent to the accident at about 6 p.m. Wednesday, said Bartholomew County Sheriff Matt Myers.

Deputies found the driver, Kevin Rucker, 57, Seymour, walking around outside his Ford F350 pickup, which went into a ditch and then rolled multiple times, Myers said.

Rucker had driven slightly off State Road 58 causing him to lose control of the vehicle, Myers said.

Rucker was taken to Columbus Regional Hospital where he was treated and released for a shoulder injury, Myers said.

Assisting at the scene were the Southwest Fire Department and a Columbus Regional Hospital ambulance.
