GREENVILLE, S.C. — Sheriff’s deputies in South Carolina are investigating after a person was found shot to death at a hotel parking lot.

Greenville County Sheriff’s Sgt. Jimmy Bolt said in a news release that officers were called around 2:30 a.m. Thursday. Bolts said officers found a person with at least one gunshot wound. The victim died at the scene.

The person’s name has not been released.

No arrests have been reported.
