HOPE

Carol Ann Dye, 72, of Hope, died Monday, September 25, 2017 at her home.

She had worked as a comptroller at a structural steel firm.

She also loved horses.

Born on April 27, 1945 in Shelbyville, Carol was the daughter of Leonard and Barbara Joanne Andrews Jackley.

She married Danny Dye 54 years ago, and he preceded her in death about 10 years ago.

She is survived by brothers, Michael, Matthew and Steven Jackley, all of Omaha, Nebraska; aunts and uncles, Mary Andrews Garten and Linda Andrews Fourman, both of Columbus, the Rev. Robert Andrews of Chevy Chase, Maryland, and Sarah Andrews of Columbus; several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces; 17 cousins; and several second- and third-generation cousins.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and four aunts and uncles.

Cremation is planned and there will be a private gathering at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Multiple Sclerosis foundation or to breast cancer support services.
