The location of Madison’s annual Chautauqua of the Arts moved to Columbus after Dixie McDonough, its executive director, signed a contract for the festival to be conducted in September in Mill Race Park.

With more than two months to go in the first year of the program, sale of federal food stamps in Columbus exceeded $60,000 and topped the estimated distribution for the initial 12-month period.
