NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. — An investigation is underway after three people were stabbed during an altercation in a Rhode Island town.

Police say it happened early Saturday at a “private residence” in North Kingstown. The victims suffered stab wounds that aren’t considered life-threatening.

Police say the three people knew each other.
