SAVANNAH, Ga. — A film festival is preparing to celebrate its 20th year on the Georgia coast.

The Savannah College of Art and Design will hold the weeklong festival Oct. 28 through Nov. 4.

A host of actors, actresses and directors are scheduled to attend the 2017 SCAD Savannah Film Festival, with awards this year being presented to Salma Hayek Pinault, John Boyega, Holly Hunter, Robert Pattinson and Patrick Stewart.

Officials at the Savannah art college say the festival has screened more than 100 Oscar nominated films and honored more than 75 actors and filmmakers over the past two decades.
