KENT, Wash. — Authorities say two men were fatally shot and another injure at a strip mall in Kent following an altercation.

KOMO reports ( http://bit.ly/2wrbDoH ) that officers responded about 3:20 a.m. Sunday after a report of shots fired. According to Kent Police, a security guard on patrol found a 31-year-old man who had been shot to death on the ground in a strip mall.

A preliminary investigation found that a verbal dispute in front of the strip mall quickly escalated, ending with the 46-year-old man shooting the 31-year-old man, killing him. Another man at the scene then shot the 46-year-old man, critically injuring him, then shot a 28-year-old man, who later died from his injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
