FallFare carnival fun

Nashville United Methodist will conduct its annual FallFare from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday on the Village Green next to the church at the corner of Jefferson and Main streets in Nashville.

The fair will include live music, a kids’ carnival, a silent auction and booths. Local Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts will operate the Village Cafe, selling breakfast casserole in the morning and burgers or hot dogs for lunch.

A silent auction will include art, theme bags/baskets, event and attraction tickets, gift certificates and handmade items.

The Trash & Treasures booth will feature yard sale-type items such as electronics, furniture and appliances, kitchen items, tools and sports equipment.

Other items for sale include handmade knitted, quilted and wood items, fine artwork, homemade candy, pies and other baked goods, pickles, jams, apples, antiques, live plants, cut and dried flowers, jewelry, hats, scarves, purses, holiday decor and more.

Proceeds benefit a variety of missions, local and international.
