PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The 22-year-old woman killed in a shooting in Pittsfield has been identified.

Police say they found Asiyanna Jones with a gunshot wound inside a vehicle on Dewey Avenue after getting reports of gunshots late Monday night.

She was taken first to Berkshire Medical Center, then flown by helicopter to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, where she died early Tuesday.

Jones was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.

An investigation is ongoing. No arrests have yet been made.
