Anthony G. Fields

COLUMBUS

Anthony G. Fields, 70, of Columbus, died Saturday, September 30, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Fields retired from Rockwell Automation in August of 2006 after 41 years of employment.

He was a member of the Shelby Dodge Auto Club, Indy Mopar Club, For A Bodies Only, and a founding member of the Columbus Corvette Club.

Tony also loved snow-skiing, golf, playing the banjo and guitar, and car shows. He also loved to travel and was an amateur astronomer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Loreva (Banks) Fields.

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Thelma Fields; daughter, Tonya (Chris) Manley of Columbus; granddaughter, Samantha Rose Ansara of Columbus; brother, Larry Fields of Columbus, and sister, Teresa (Charles) Sturgill of Whitesburg, Kentucky. Also surviving are three nephews and one niece.

Private services are planned for a later date.
