A crowd of about 40 people asked candidates for Columbus government offices, including Democratic Mayor Fred Armstrong and his Republican challenger Mark White, to outline their opinions on urban sprawl, recycling and the People Trails.

1992

During the dedication of Mill Race Park, local residents had the opportunity to view the handiwork of Camp Atterbury Job Corps students, enjoy a performance by Carol Lawrence and see the park’s new structures and landscaping.

1967

The Community Action Program of Brown, Bartholomew and Jackson Counties Inc. announced a new program in the war against poverty aimed at helping persons in target neighborhoods make better use of existing community agencies, programs and facilities.
