CLINTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Firefighters rescued a New Jersey Department of Transportation worker stuck 50 feet (15 meters) in the air on his truck’s extended arm.

The event happened Tuesday on Interstate 78 near Clinton Township. reports ( ) the worker was stuck after a hydraulic leak left the lift extended with his booth 50 feet in the air.

By 3 p.m., firefighters arrived with their own hydraulic lift to rescue the worker.
